Summary
|
Net2Printer is a software-only solution to Internet printing. Senders &
recipients print directly to other Net2Printer users’ printers, without
application or printer driver requirements or network infrastructure issues.
Real-time printing, as if the sender were printing locally.

Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) requires the investment of IPP-enabled printers,
printer drivers, and static IP addresses, or Win2000 Print servers. Accounts for
fewer than 5% of the total universe of computer-peripheral printers

A directory service of subscribing IPP-enabled printers that allow subscribers to
print to IPP-enabled printers made available to receive documents through the PrinterOn
network. Non IPP printers require hardware implementation of PrinterOn Focus server
