Printer Settings
The Net2Printer RDP Printer Settings Admin dialog controls the naming and security of printers created by the Net2Printer RDP Printer Service. The default settings are shown in the dialog below:

The functions of the Net2Printer RDP Printer Settings page are as follows:
Printer Prefixes
There are two pre-defined printer prefixes available:
%u - Username
%s - Session ID
The printer name as it appears in the Windows Printers dialog can be customized to include the username and session ID, if desired. The prefixes can be listed in any order, and are not required. If the Printer prefix field is left blank, then only the printer name will be listed in the Printers dialog.

A user defined name can be used just by typing the desired text in the Printer prefix field:

Share Printers With Others
By default, the printers created by the Net2Printer RDP Printer Service will be created so that all users will be not able to see them. In cases where you don't want to hide the printers from other users, you can check the Share Printers With Others checkbox. This will create printers that are visible to all users and the user themself:

Once this option has been checked, the next time a user connects to the Terminal Server or a new printer is created the Net2Printer RDP Printer Service, the permissions will include all users and the user whose printer is being mapped:

If this option has not been checked then the Net2Printer RDP Printer Service will create printers that only the current user can and the Administrator user can see. When this happens the permissions may still show all users but there will be a special permission that starts with "S-1-5-5" which denotes that only the user session which created the printer will be able to view that printer. This permission overrides all other permissions and ensures even other sessions logged in using the same user account will not be able to print to that printer:

Enable Session Printers
When the Share Printers With Others option is not checked and this option is checked, then printers are only visible in the session that created them as explained in the Share Printers With Others section above. However, if you uncheck this option and printers are not shared then printers will be visible to only the user that created them, rather than the session that created them:

Keep Printer Name Unique
Ensures that if a new printer is being created with the same name of an existing printer, a (1) is appended onto the printer name.

Batch Print Jobs

Disable Windows Printer Mapping
You can disable the Windows Terminal Server printer mapping by checking the Disable Windows Printer Mapping checkbox:

Uncheck the box to re-enable Windows Printer Mapping.
Please note: If not all remote users will be using Net2Printer RDP, it is recommended to NOT disable Windows Printer Mapping.
