Getting Started (Server) The Net2Printer RDP Server software should be installed under a local Administrator account. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU INSTALL THE NET2PRINTER RDP SOFTWARE AS A DOMAIN ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HIDE PRINTERS FROM OTHER USERS. Once installed, the software will automatically create virtual printers representing a remote user's default printer (Lite Version), or multiple printers (Full Version) when a user opens a Remote Desktop session to a Terminal Server. If the software is working correctly the Net2Printer RDP Server icon will display in the system tray of the server when logged in with the account the software was installed under: When you move your mouse over the icon it will display "License Type - Licensed for xx Users, x used", indicating how many users are licensed and how many are currently connected and using Net2Printer RDP licenses. |
